Meet Dr. Amanda Terveen

A Passion for Optimal Oral Health

I became a dentist because I love helping people and building long-lasting relationships with them. One of my favorite things about being a dentist is helping my patients reach an optimal state of oral health and once we get there helping them maintain it throughout their lifetime.

I believe in comprehensive quality oral health care and treating the person as a whole to understand the root of the issue so that together we can help facilitate the best treatment for each individual patient. My goal is to create an exceptional patient experience by being compassionate, clinically thorough, and providing excellent communication.

Dentistry is continuously changing, and I consider myself a lifelong student as I love gaining new knowledge and skills with the latest technology, techniques, and research in the field of dentistry. I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with my patients and team members so that our patient’s care is always the best it can be.

I attended North Dakota State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Zoology. After my undergraduate career, I pursued dental school at the University of Iowa where I was awarded my Doctor of Dental Surgery.

I grew up near Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and have a large family that prioritizes spending time together and making memories. My husband and I have two young children that our lives revolve around.

Outside of the office I love spending time with family, yoga, reading, and exploring new places.
